"Training the next generation for Christ one child at a time.
The families of the Gospel
Lighthouse Church desired a quality
Christian education for their children. After much prayer, Lighthouse
Academy opened its doors in August of 1988. The academy has been such a
blessing to many in the community. Students are loved, nurtured and
challenged to become the best they can be for Jesus! The alumni of
Lighthouse Academy are leaders in their corner of the world. Former
graduates are now working as teachers, professors, workers in the
medical field, management, photographers, sales, hair technicians,
military, coaches and some are laborers in the local church. While all
have not stayed in Floyd, each have taken a little “piece” of Floyd
with them to brighten the corner wherever they are. Lighthouse Academy
has proven Christian education doesn't cost..... It pays! One of
Lighthouse Academy's objectives has always been teaching each child how
to live to honor God and become a productive citizen in the community.
We thank God for the fruit of Christian education.
